HOW DO I WASH MY CAR AFTER PAINT PROTECTION FILM APPLICATION?
Ideally use a pH Neutral soap to wash your car with., Do not wash car at a Car Wash, we recommend hand wash only (No high pressure washer). We recommend 2 bucket wash for body of vehicle, with a grit guard, Microfiber wash mitt and twist drying towel to prevent your car being washed with dirty cloths and therefore cause damage to the PPF and it’s instant healing layer.
IS THERE ANY MAINTENANCE SERVICING NEEDED FOR MY PAINT PROTECTION FILM?
We ask our clients to come back after 2 Weeks for a check up after PPF application to check curing has taken place properly. After this time, there is no need for a yearly check up. Should you prefer, we are able to perform maintenance washes for you at our premises. If you have any concerns with your PPF then you are welcome to bring it in for inspection.
CAN YOU APPLY CERAMIC COATING TO PAINT PROTECTION FILM?
Yes! It will help to enhance the hydrophobic properties of the paint protection film.
WHY DOES MY CAR NEED PAINT CORRECTION IF IT IS BRAND NEW FROM A DEALERSHIP?
Although a car is brand new and straight from a dealership there could be some small scratches or swirl marks present on the paint. Applying film to your new car, also make your new car look new for a lot longer, thus keeping the value of your vehicle high.
HOW DO YOU APPLY THE PPF?
For most models and makes of vehicles, we use Pre-Cut software. This way we do not cut on the body of the vehicle. This method is a lot safer.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INSTANT HEAL AND SELF-HEAL PPF?
Immortal PPF is Instant-Healing, meaning small scratches heal instantly without any heat.
Self-Healing film requires heat from the sun, warm water or a hair dryer, in order to self-repair.
