Graphene coatings are considered the newest innovations to emerge in the automobile industry. Graphene is a carbon-based material that is not really new. Detailers prefer this coating due to its hardness and ‘anti-static properties. Furthermore, it does not allow the dust to settle down on the surface coated with it because of its anti-static properties, exceptional water-repelling capabilities, long lasting protection, deep gloss visual appeal and user-friendly application.
Directions:
DECONTAMINATION, PAINT CORRECTION & PAINT PREPARATION is VITAL. This play a significant role in determining the final outcome, greatly affecting the coating’s bonding and overall performance.
For best results, prepare surface by polishing first and then ensure application is done to a clean, cool, dry surface. Use our Prep pre-cleaner to wipe away any oil and polish residue from surface. Shake well and apply a small amount of the coating to an applicator pad and spread it evenly on a 60 x 60 cm section using overlapping strokes. Allow it to sit for a short period (30 seconds or less, depending on temperature). Wipe off the excess with a clean microfiber towel, and then buff to a shine using a second clean towel. Multiple coats are generally not necessary. Apply one panel at a time, buffing with a clean fluffy towel after application on a panel. Keep dry for the first 12 hours after application.
Consumption rate: 2-3 ml/m² or 15-20ml per mid-sized sedan.
Curing time (recommended):
2 hours (tropical/humid) / 12 hours (temperate/dry) or 0.5 hour Infrared assisted 40-50°C
– Surface dry (unaffected contact with water/rain)
Fully cured after 7 days. Do not wash in first 7 days.
